Ancient Law

Hatred is, indeed, never appeased by hatred in this world. It is appeased only by loving-kindness. This is am Ancient Law.

အပၸမာေဒါ အမတ ပဒံ၊ ပမာေဒါ မစၥဳေနာ ပဒံ၊

အပၸမတၱာ န မီယႏၱိ၊ ေယ ပမတၱာ ယထာ မတာ။

Mindfulness is the way to the deathless,

Unmindfulness is the the way to death.

Those who are mindful do not die;

Those who are not mindful are as if already dead.
